Elective Subjects for Arts Stream
A student may opt. for any four elective subjects as First, Second, Thtrd and fourth elective from one of the following groups.
i) History, Logic, Economics, Psy /IT / Home Sc. / Sociology
ii) Pol. Sc., History, Sociology,IT / Psy/ Home Sc.
iii)History, Logic,(Home Sc./Psy/IT),(Odia/Sans)
iv)History, Pol.Sc., (Odia/Sans), Economics
v)Economics, Sociology, (Odia/Sans), (IT/Home Sc./Psy)
vi)Pol. Sc., Logic, (Odia/Sans), (IT/Home Sc./Psy)

ELECTIVE SUBJECTS FOR SCIENCE STREAM

Each elective subject carrying a maximum of 200 marks i.e 100 marks for 1st year and 100 marks for 2nd yaer and 100 marks for 2nd year.
1.Physics – 1st Elective
2.Chemistry – 2 nd Elective
3.Mathematics/Biolog (can be opted for both 3 rd and 4 th Elective Subject) (One in each case).
4.Information Technology (can be opted as 4 th Elective subject only (64 Seats)

+3 Course Structure
128 Seats (Utkal University)
The three years Degree course leading to the Bachelor’s Degree in Arts of Utkal University shall be spread over a period of three academic years. A candidate for the Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Shall be required to pass the following Degree in Arts shall be required to pass the following examination :
1.First University Examination.
2.Second university Examination.
3.Final University Examination.
